screen not as bright after root

I rooted my evo3d and after doing so I see that my screen is not as bright. I have the setting on auto adjust and have not put any roms or kernals or anything like that on it. Any help would be great.

Most likely a coincidence. There is nothing in the rooting process that would effect screen brightness. I will look around and see if anyone else has encountered the same issue.
What method did you use to root the phone?
Assuming you used the htc unlock method this would have done a factory reset. Any chance you had your screen set at a different brightness setting prior to unlocking?

I agree! Root has no affect on brightness, go into display and check to see if auto brightness is checked on.

The auto brightness was checked on. I may have disabled that long ago and didn't realize it and when the root was done it factory reset everything back so everything is all good now. thanks guys
