How do you add more full screen apps when you rotate the pages?

Hi everyone,

Pardon the rather ambiguous description, trying my best to describe. When you turn the phone on and are on the home screen, you can flick it left or right to scroll through more screens. I want to put Gmail on one of those screens full screen, not just the shortcut. Or perhaps put Facebook on one of these screen full screen -- the same way the agenda or music app display.

I can't figure this out though... coming from a Blackberry to the E3D. Thanks in advance!!
