Anyone else having the issue where the youtube app will not work over 3g? It works great over 4g and wifi, but videos will not load over 3g. I keep getting there was a problem with the video you are trying to watch tap to retry. Well I've tapped and I've tried multiple unrelated videos, no luck. Anyone have any idea as to what's going on here?

I just tested this and my YouTube app works in 3g. Maybe someone else has a fix for you.

That method I am told works but all I did was the following:
1) Dial ##3282#
2) press edit
3) enter msl where it asks for password
4) choose advanced
5) press RTSP/HTTP Setting
6) set HTTP proxy port to 0

It would be interesting to see if one or the other doesn't work for everyone.

Where do you find that MSL password??? I have been trying to fix this issue for a week now and this seems to be the best answer I have seen. Please let me know where or how to get this password. Thanks!

If you are rooted you can get it using MSL Reader from the Market. Otherwise you will have to call Sprint. Most people have been able to get it by being nice and saying they have data connectivity issues and you need your MSL.

Dammit its back! I rechecked the settings and there still set to 0 but the problem is back. It also affects zedge. The drill down just spins and never loads. Any thoughts? Thanks.

easy fix.... goto your wifi settings on your phone or laptop thats facing this issue and change the DNS to google 8.8.8.8 DNS...

Should I use my ISP's DNS, or Google's 8.8.8.8? - Server Fault
