Impoved 3D picture capabilities

Not sure if anyone has had the same experience but I used my EVO 3D yesterday to take some pictures of my son's first haircut and actually used the 3D function. When I went back to look at the pictures and do the usual 3D alignment process I noticed that I didn't need to align the 3D at all. Every single one of the pictures came out perfect. Imagine my surprise. Any thoughts on this?

After ICS I noticed an improvement in the overall picture quality and the 3 D seems to have more depth.

I guess they improved it quite a bit with ICS. Might actually use it more often now.
