Headphone Jack (audio problem)

Hi, My htc evo 3D has some kind of audio problem. When i plug my headphones in i can only hear the beat but not the lyrics. Ive tried using other headphones and they all did the same thing. Can anyone help me?

Welcome to Android Central! The first essential question is, are you pushing the headphone plug far enough into the jack? Sometimes the jack is pretty tight. You should feel and/or hear a click when it's in all the way.

Yes i can hear it click, it goes in all the way but the audio is still wierd

It's easy for lint or other junk to get stuck in the headphone jack. Use a damp toothpick to root around (gently) or a bottle of compressed air to blow the jack out.

How new is your phone? Has it always been like this, or did it just recently start? If it's pretty new and the above suggestion doesn't help, I'd try to get it replaced. If it's not that new, call your wireless provider or HTC about possible warranty work.
