What kind of screen in this thing?

Most of the new android phones coming out from other manufacturers are touting 'amazing' new screen technologies with either great efficiency, color, contrast, black levels, etc. Super amoled, super lcd, super whatever, I don't remember hearing anything about the evo 3D's screen. I mean considering how important 'the screen' is in the phone, I'd hope they'd use as nice a screen as possible.

I only ask because in the videos I saw, blacks seemed to look reaallly washed out, and colors for the most part didn't pop as much as they do in some other phones.

On the videos the Evo 3D screen appears to look darker than the EVO 4G, the video capturing might have something to do with that. The EVO 3D has a higher screen resolution(540?960), and look a lot crisper than the EVO 4G.

The 3D has a high resolution and a much much larger color palate than the OG Evo (OG has that ridiculous 65k color palate) so just those tow things combined will bring you a richer screen experience.
