I'm going in today to get my replacement Evo Shift from Sprint (gingerbread killed the last one). I figure it'll probably be a refurb. I looked up the buyback value of the Shift on Sprint's website and it says as much as $115. I'm thinking i may take that money and throw it at the Premier price(199.99) of the Evo 3D and basically only be paying about $85 for it. I'm sure i'd get more than $115 for the Evo Shift on Ebay, but i'm all about immediate gratification.
