I know this has probably been posted elsewhere but here goes.

1) I heard Walmart sells the evo 4g lte for 150$. Is it true?

2) I'be heard from various sources that phones sold at Walmart/best buy/radio shack are refurbs and not brand new phones is this true?
I want the evo but I don't want to pay 200 plus the activation fee, so if there's anyone out there who got their phone from Walmart is it a new phone?

1. If your local Walmart sells Sprint phones (many do not) it's reportedly being sold for $149-$158. Call the store and inquire as to whether or not they sell Sprint, then ask about the pricing and availability of HTC EVO 4G LTE.

2. No, the cell phones sold at Walmart, Radio Shack, Best Buy, etc. are not refurbished devices. They are brand new.

Bought my evolte Saturday at Walmart for $158. they only had 1. The only problem was the Walmart associate took half an hour trying to activate it for me and knew nothing about the phone.
