Manual focus?

Hi, I just got my evo today and I love it, the only thing I can't figure out is how to set the camera to manual focus mode. When its on auto focus I can't utilize the 2-stage shutter button, because it focuses on its own before I tell it too. Any help is greatly appreciated

The camera was designed to continually autofocus. You can tap areas of the screen to manually focus on selected areas.

The half press is used to freeze the focus and aperture so that you can then creatively reframe your image maintaining focus and aperture before finishing pressing to actuate the shutter.

I'm continually amazed by the quality of the camera.

Oh I see.... I've never herd of something like that but that's very clever and possibly more useful than manual focus anyways. Thank you for the info
