Yes, we saw that a loooong time ago with the last update, which is what that is. Why you are only just now seeing it is more cause of curiosity.

Just for giggles I checked, it sat on a spinning "Checking" for over two minutes then finally said there were no updates. Strange. So I tried again... same thing. Why would it take hundreds of seconds just to compare two strings?

The update notification goes out in batches over a period of weeks, so it may take up to a month before you're notified of an update. That's one of the reasons to check the blogs/forums regularly--80% of the time, I find out about an available update before I ever receive a notification.
