So I emailed HTC and I got the response below. Also asking if they would add HTC sense notes to 4.1.

Jelly Bean was released according to the Sprint techs that I have talked to so something went wrong with it. It was supposed to be on HTC's webpage too (i have known these techs for a while)

    Dear -----,

Thank you for contacting HTC technical support

we are excited about the latest update for Android, Jelly Bean, and are currently reviewing its features and functionality to determine upgrade plans for our product portfolio. While our goal is to bring the latest software updates to as many of our recent devices as possible, we are committed to maintaining every phones performance and usability first, that is why we first release the updates for the carriers so they can perform additional tests to see if the update matches their customers expectations. Once they have done that, they will release the updates for everyone. We have no official notice about when the release for the update is going to be. We do not have official notice if it will include HTC Sense Notes.

I think that when Jelly Bean is released by Google it should be available for all phones. Like Windows 8 for a PC.

So we should have to pay for it? Actually I agree... and HTC should just make there own set of drivers. That would actually be good.

Haven't been available for a bit and was going through withdrawal. Then I get on and see about 10 new pages and get my hopes up that something big happened. 10 pages of reading later I couldn't be more proud of everyone. No update but plenty of sarcasm flowing freely, I love it.

Screw LTEvo! Just ordered Samsung Galaxy Note 2. Sketchy reception, BS WiFi, LTE lock all over the place, no multi-tasking, contacts hosed, double.emails, and no support from Sprint or HTC. Epic Fail

I'm no programmer or anything, but with the exception of phone manufacturers holding older phones updates back to sell new phones with the new software, to me there is no reason why this is not already done. If a phone can run the software there is no reason we should be left waiting for devs to get in gear. We also should have to do things that void our warranties to update our software without having to wait for said devs.

How is an hour of talk time a good deal? I checked their site I don't see anything anywhere near $30
I'm not sure where the $30 figure came from, it was shown to me by a friend while we were discussing the possible cost saving aspects (long run) of him switching to a nexus 4 on T-Mobile. But for me, if T-Mobile had good coverage where I am (from what I've been told it's meh) it would be a great deal. I rarely use my phone as an actual phone for longer than an hour every month.

Edit: I'll ask him what he was looking at when he showed me the $30 plan.
