Restart needed to reconnect to 4G

I've found that if I lose 4G and my EVO drops down to 3G, it doesn't seem to reconnect to 4G unless I do a restart. Has anyone else had this and, if so, is there a fix?

Haven't seen that myself. A couple of questions though: When this happens, are you sure you are in an area that has a fairly string 4G signal? Second, are you using the Connections Optimizer?

This sometimes happens to my phone, I found that turning on the Airplane Mode then turning it off is a quicker fix than restarting the phone.
