music and videos wont play on my Evo LTE

Hi, I've had my eov LTE maybe 2 years now and about a week or so ago I noticed when I tried watching videos on facebook or YouTube it would either start get to a second then stop playing or fast forward through the entire video so I tried updating my phone but that didn't work . Now its gotten even worse now I can't record any videos or play any that's in my gallery plus none of my music will play it keeps saying " unable to play this type of audio file" but its some of the same music I've had since I got the phone.

Please help any and all ideas are welcomed thanks...

Hardware version 0003 software 3.17.651.4 71ORD

Try going in Settings and clearing data for Streaming Video Player (or whatever it's called).
