Speaker Not Working to Hear Other Caller - Yet It Works Otherwise?!!!

OK... my problem is when I call someone - even when I check my voicemail - my speaker doesn't work on my phone. And the volume is ALL THE WAY UP!

But the weird part is my speaker doesn't appear to be broken or anything. For example, when I end a call on speaker, I hit the 'END CALL' button and the BEEP goes through the speaker loud and clear. So I'm confused as to why this is happening?

Have you enabled Speaker mode after the call connects?

Yes. My speaker worked fine until a few days ago so I'm familiar with the speaker system - but for some reason it's not working now.

Then it sounds like something broke it. Has anything changed with your device since you noticed it stopped working?

Not to my knowledge. But how is it the speaker works fine for when I END CALL? And my music plays on my phone loud and without a problem. It makes no sense!

It doesn't. Have you tried a factory reset, in case it's an app issue?

I don't want to erase everything. I'll take it to Verizon tomorrow to see what the deal is.
