just got a 2.3 gingerbread maintenance update on my phone.....i am already rooted and running stock 2.3, anyone else know about this update and should i accept it or should i wait?

Well... If your rooted... I would most likely "not" do an ota from Sprint or HTC.

with all this unable to be rooted/ locked bootloader stuff happening, I wouldn't accept ANY update (but that's just me)

What was the version of the update? For these EVOs, there have been an GB update and then a GB patch a week or two later that brought the build number up to 4.24.651.1 - still Android Version 2.3.3
