rom on sd card (help)

Ok so I accidently posted this in the 3d forum anyway im trying to move a custom rom to my sd card and i plug in my phone with the usb cable to the pc and mount it as disk drive and i dont see the sd card folder anywhere .....now i go into the phone settings under sd&storage and it says mount an sd card.....I just need guidance on how to do this as ive never tried to move anything to the sd card and I tried searching in the forums and google and tried things suggested but no luck

my pc sees it as a removeable drive and i can open it up just cant find sd card

Your phone isn't recognizing your card. If it did you would see an option to unmount. Click mount sd card and you should be good to go.

it shows unmount sd card but as soon as i go from charge only on the usb connection to mount as disk drive it show under settings mount sd card and i tap that option but its greyed out so
