When are you planning to release a final version and any plans of including the ability to take screenshots when the power button is pressed.

Alright guys I been working on something with the boot and I want yall to test it out and tell me what yall think .

Warning this is explicit use at your own agression and no this has NOTHING to do with porno graphic material. It's actually music just got some cursing in it .

Download from this link

http://www.multiupload.com/7ANXQEFX3Q

To install this requires no flash just a reboot

1. Download the File (DO NOT CHANGE FILE NAME OR THIS WON'T WORK)
2. Use Root Explorer or whatever other file manager you got . I preferred if you use Root Explore but others will do .
3. Locate The file you just downloaded named SPC_animation_final.mp3
Click on it and hold till a option pops up saying MOVE .
4. Click Move then press the back key
5. Then press the back key again to get out of SD card
6. Locate SYSTEM
7. Click on it
8. Locate CUSTOMIZE
9. Click on it
10. Locate RESOURCES
11. Click on it
12. Scroll Down make sure there is not a file named
SPC_animation_final.mp3 already in there if there is delete it .
13. Then Click PASTE
14. that's it your done
15. Reboot your phone and pay attetion to your boot screen :)

Some word of advice make sure your phone volume is down cause it will be loud if not but if you don't care just reboot .

Alright guys hope you like the song I pick because I think that is what might be in SOS RC2.3 and the Rom will be called check out my swag .

Tell me what you guys think

P.S. this shouldt mess up the Rom but just incase your not sure make a nandroid backup .

Finally have a chance to do this, flashing ROM now and will do this as soon as I'm rebooted. :) Will post results afterwards.

Just booted back up and heard the song...my EVO felt so swaggish! Quick question though.....could I technically take any mp3 and rename it to the file name and have it play during boot?

Hey, crazy problem here! Last night I was inside the Amazon MP3 app and out of no where the phone rebooted and was stuck in a bootloop...had to do a battery pull. It booted back up fine and hasn't messed up since. Just wanted to bring this to your attention ASAP. Happy Halloween Everyone!!! :)

Re: [ROM] 10.21 | Swagged Out Stock v1.9.0.5 RC2.1 | 4.53 | Bloat

i love this ROM but am having major trouble now! :(

i flashed this first using ROM manager (premium) and had no problems with it, everything seemed to be working fine.

however, like an idiot, i started playing around BEFORE doing another nandroid backup and seem to have screwed things up when i went into Personalize / Scenes and started choosing various options. i got stuck in an endless reboot loop, rebooted into recovery using ADB (even pulled the battery but could not get out of the reboot loop any other way), restored the nandroid backup that was pre-SOS ROM flash, then flashed the SOS ROM again. this time i flashed the ROM using the "zip file on sd card method" as i read elsewhere that can be more reliable than using ROM Manager.

this flash has the SOS UI but did not remove any of the crapware (sprint or htc). additionally, things i had already removed returned (amazon mp3). finally, i am not able to delete anything using Root Explorer. well, it looks like it works when i delete the item but the deleted item still shows up in the stock Application Manager, greyed out and unable to be deleted.

i've rebooted several times, also wiped the cache and dalvik cache. also ran the fix permissions.

confused... frustrated... desperate... help?!?! thanks in advance!

ps - despite having paid for it, i can't get the premium license of ROM Manager back on my phone via Market. I click on install and it just goes to a white screen that says "Loading" with a never-ending twirling loop that is supposed to indicate progress but, in this case, clearly does not. I am not sure if this is a problem with the updated market or with my problems with this ROM.

Addendum - just did a full wipe of the phone three times and reflashed the ROM, this time using ROM manager, still same problems. Well, the crapware is gone thanks to the full wipe but none of the other SOS swag is there, all that seems to have changed is the font and the wallpaper. Please help! Thanks!

Wipe everything before you flash the Rom.

if i read you right, i think i did this the second time. i did the full wipe (all three wipes) and i did that three times. i already had the zip file on the sd card and then i flashed it from the using CWM recovery (instead of boot manager). didn't seem to add anything except the graphics (font, wallpaper) and the different pull down menu on the home screen. THANKS!

ps - saw in xdadeveloper forums that maybe the problem is on my end and that i should try using VR Superwipe? problem is that i can barely follow these forums so xdadevel is way over my head! thanks again!

Hey, just wanted to let you all know that this ROM looks like it's outdated. The one on XDA is v1.9.0.6 and is based off of the security update from HTC and Sprint. Just thought I'd let you all know if you don't already.

Then the one on XDA must be wrong. Both OP's work on the ROM, so one of them must be wrong. Either their site has the wrong V number, or the post on XDA is wrong. :p

Edit: Yup it was a typo on XDA. It even says in big blue letters at the top: "1.9.0.5". I think I need new glasses after this one. They aren't workin' for me anymore. :p
