Fastest rom + kernal combo?

Hi,

What would be the fastest rom + kernal combo for my Evo 4G? I'm noticing my evo is starting to show its age in a world of dual core processors and more ram.

I use decks gb 1.3 & tiatmat. I get good results from that combination. I just never got into using miui or sense based roms. I like me the old aosp based roms. I keep my phone cpu clock at about 1152mhz when fully charged & it slowly trickles down once it hits 50%. I got an extended battery so i really dont mind...

What Tiamat kernel are you running? I'm using the 3.3.7 (LEE) SBC kernel and I haven't been that impressed with battery life. Thinking about trying another one if you have a recommendation. Evo deck 1.3
