First off make sure your image is in .rgb565 format. I usually just convert a bitmap (.bmp) image.

- Move the image file into you're SDK/tools folder

- Reboot your device into bootloader (volume down + power button), then click on "FASTBOOT".

- Open adb window (make sure you prompt to "sdk/tools") and type: fastboot flash splash1 evosplash1.rgb565 and hit enter.

- After files have been pushed to device, click on "REBOOT".

Thats what I've been doing... Let me try again... Any Particular Image editor you use? or just BMP?

UPDATE: Here is what keeps happening...

C:\android-sdk\tools>fastboot devices
HT05LHL05582 fastboot

C:\android-sdk\tools>fastboot flash splash1 splash.raw565
sending 'splash1' (750 KB)... OKAY [ 0.359s]
writing 'splash1'... INFOsignature checking...
FAILED (remote: signature verify fail)
finished. total time: 0.469s

C:\android-sdk\tools>

UPDATE: Go Figure I can do boot animation no problem but Splash is an issue FML

Try renaming the image to "splash1.rgb565", then enter the command that's in my first post.

Are you fully rooted?

Yes Sir...

Nand unlocked and all...

I've Flashed Several times...

and i have the Droid x Boot animation...

But still getting a Fail for this Splash

Honestly though i might leave the White EVO4G Splash

It looks kinda good with the Droid X Boot animation

Regardless I still want to be able to Flash this whenever i want...

UPDATE: I'm Also Able to Remove a bunch of Bloatware which i just did :)

I'm lost then man. Maybe the file is corrupt and needs to either be re-formatted or re-downloaded.
