Can i run the ota when it arrives

I am currently fully rooted (simple root) i was just wondering if i could just run the ota 2.2 update when it is released or would i have to un root first any feed back would be greatly appreciated

Im not to worried about it unrooting my phone. I am worried about bricking my phone.

if you run the update, it will unroot your phone. if you don't care about running specific apps that require root then go for it. it will probably be a couple weeks and you will see some more updates to the current froyo roms that will have all the fixes that come with the official 2.2, and a couple new ones that will come out.

If you do the OTA you'll lose Root and the proper HBoot...

As to my Knowledge...

Wait for the Devs to release the Root Rom to Flash...
