Okay, previously I had used unrevoked 3 on 2.1 to root, I manually updated, broke root (I'm okay with that) but the super user permissions app is still there, how do I get rid of it? And can I just leave it, and re-root when 2.2 is cracked?

Sorry if its a dumb question, this is my first android phone.

Thanks

You can keep it but you can't use it. To delete it .

Menu > Applications > find it > install

You can just delete it, any Rom you flash when you re root will have it

Just keep in mind that there is no promise/guarantee that 2.2 will be able to be rooted.
