Headphone issue and FM radio

is the FM radio issue ridden? I hardly have clear reception (my iPod nano gets better reception). Or could this be a headphone issue?

The radio uses the headphone cable as an antenna. Have you tried it with the headphones that you use for the nano?

I'm never gotten the radio to work and I've tried half a dozen headphones

Shielded headphones are inherently bad well... I don't think it has to be spelled out.

I agree, you should try the same headphones you use for the nano.

I have tried the same earbuds I use with my iPod and there is no difference
