Can not get or send text.

I don't know what caused it but when I was on cm 6 my text were sent and received fine. all of a sudden I did not receive them till a day later. after that I did not get any at all nor could I send them out ( the person I was sending it to would say they did not get it.). I upgraded to the new cm 7 rc1 and I still can't send or receive any text. if anyone can help me please do.

Update: went to the cm 7 nightly 11 rom and the texting is still not there. noticing other people on different sites having the same thing happen so I am glad it is not just me.

I know it is a different matter, but I was having problems sending mail from the Gmail app. It would just sit in the outbox.

The solution, clear the Data and Cache for the Gmail app. All is back to working. Maybe that is worth a try for the stock messaging app?

Well I found out how to fix this: Get a Sense based rom (i.e. stock or fresh) then go and update the prl. that was it.
