Z4 root question

So I used Z4 to temp root my EVO hardware 4 to use titanium backup and the free wireless tether app. But even after restart I still have the super user icon. Does this mean I'm still rooted? Could I install a rom manager and use it this way? My guess is no because that seems way to easy, but would live to try c-mod. I'm most curious as to why the super user icon is still here. Thanks!

it doesn't mean your rooted, you will have to manually delete it if you want to get rid of it.

I tried today and couldn't get it to go at all. It said I wasn't rooted?

Z4root is only good for teathering and deleting bloat.
