    Guys,

Hadn't seen this anywhere n the android central forums yet, so I thought I'd post a link to it. I've got google talk video chat working on my EVO, and it works really good.

I've got CM7.02 installed on my phone with no other modifications. All you have to do is wipe cache, wipe dalvik, and install the new AOSP g-apps that Lithid was kind enough to adapt for the EVO. The link to the thread is here: [ROM][BETA] AOSP 2.3.4 Gingerbread HTC Evo w/ New gTalk - xda-developers.

Anyways, this didn't seem to be mass public knowledge (which surprised me), so I thought I'd post this for some people who wanted to chat with their nexus s friends (or anyone with a gmail account on their computer).

CM7 was bumped up to 2.3.4 on the latest nightly. All you have to do is flash new gapps. It's been discussed on the CM7 thread ;-)

@BigRick10 Haha what? How am I always the last to know... so if I'm not on the nightly build can I still grab the latest gapps from CM or what? I'd like to stick with 7.02 until a new stable version comes out.

also if you could post a link to the specific CM7 thread where this is discussed that would be killer, I can't seem to find it. Thanks man

Anybody having issues with Gtalk force closing when trying to make a video or voice call? I've tried wiping Dalvik and the cache before flashing the new Gapps, but it didn't seem to help.

Can't get it to work. I am running nightly 65 and the latest 0503 Gapps. What I get is on my android I hear the other person's voice and see them clear. They can hear my voice, but they see no video. I do see my own video on the phone. All I did was wipe the device, flashed nightly 65, flashed gapps, wiped cache, wiped dalvik, rebooted, fixed permissions, rebooted and this is where I am.
