I think if you actually exit out of the browser after using it, it will always open to the homepage.

Maybe you could replace the browser icon with a bookmark shortcut and just use that to launch your browser?

Yes there is a way to set your homepage to what ever you want, just open the browser, hit menu, go to settings, scroll halfway down and there it is. .......set homepage!
