I wouldn't bet that. There is no holdup. They said EVO would be released by summer. It sounds like that will be met if not sooner.

There's nothing holding up the Evo.

I doubt it. Flash could hole up 2.2, but not the 2.1 that was on the EVO. Sprint would not put a hold on EVO for Flash, while the iPhone's release is just a few weeks away.

The only thing that is/will hold up EVO's release is production volume. They want to have enough on hand so they don't irk to many customer's that have been waiting for the phone.

Like others have said, Flash is not holding up this device and if it were it would be a huge mistake seeing how well Flash works on any mobile device. (not good...)

This device will hit before the next generation iPhone. It has too...

Yeha i don't think sprint is so stupid to hold up a release day for flash knowing that they can bring it on after release with ota update...the mass production quantity is the hold up...

Well based on the video demonstrating flash on 2.2 on a Nexus 1, I would say Flash seems to be working pretty damn good.

I was going to link that video, too Manny. I'm actually shocked just how well flash really does well after having Flash Lite from day one on my Hero. Flash Lite is OK, but damn that full Flash is good. Looks like it will be well worth the wait.

I agree with the others, there is no hold up for the release. Sprint/HTC has never said anything other than coming this summer.
