Make sure you explain to your sales person you have 30 mins and no more.

I know my people spend lots of time upselling accessories and such, but if we know the customer is in a genuine hurry we will move them through the process as quick as possible. I might suggest you call whoever will be handling your phone before hand, and let them know what you plan to buy with it. That way it can all be done when you arrive.

I called my shack yesterday. They won't be making the appointments until they have the phone in their possession ( a day or two before, she said). And she said each appt would take 45-60 minutes.

I think they are just putting a time frame where they are in no rush and can guarantee to answer all questions a customer might have. I personally have been in an out after upgrading a line in less than ten minutes. My good friend is a manager and him knowing that i am an informed consumer helps speed up the time i am there. Knowing exactly what you want accessory wise, knowing all account passwords and pins should have you in and out of the store pretty quickly.
