quick question about upgrading....

ok....so i have a pre on my main line and an airave on my other line that i got a couple weeks ago.....when they activated my airave it was immediately available to upgrade with the full $150 discount....sprint confirmed this.....ok so the question is.....if i go into bestbuy....can they use that upgrade but then activate it on my line that has the pre on it?

some people i know at bestbuy say they do swaps like that all the time....but seeing that my other line is an airave and not another phone i wonder if its still possible
