Missed call/text/e-mail notification?

I've been a loyal Palm follower for years and have only had my Pre for a few months. It's going to be replaced by an EVO very soon. I know nothing about Android...nothing. Still, I can't resist that beautiful screen.

Anyways, is there any type of LED for notification of missed calls etc? It's not absolutely a deal breaker but it's an option that will be surely missed if the EVO doesn't have it.

Blink

There's an app called Blink that will allow customization of the LED - but it hasn't been working on my Evo.. So far, I have seen orange and green on my LED which tells me it's capable of all colors, we just need someone to write an app that can control it. Blink also controlled the speed of the LED which is nice - especially if you're trying to distinguish between different email, sms, mms, vmail and phone calls when the phone is silent...

PLEEEEEEEASE! Someone please update this app to work with Evo or make another one!
