another question about low phone storage

i've realized that my low phone storage is from app updates. according to my "app2sd" app, i have moved every moveable file/app to sd card. yet when i install updates, my storage plummets. when i uninstall updates, it goes back up. is there a way to stop updates from going to the phone storage, especially where the app being updated is on my sd card?
