Any I/O people notice this?

I have an I/O phone that I just activated yesterday on a normal plan. I don't know why, as I am still on the test-keys build, but my phone feels much faster. It also doesn seem to be loading apps thta I never booted as much... I would love to know if anyone else has noticed this change, and if so, why has it happened. I am happy with it. There was a delay the phone had witht he touch screen, like at the lock screen for example, there was a clear delay before the lock screen was gone, small but definite. I know I'm not imagining it, though perhaps the change happened after root.
