The browser does start on your home page when you open it. When you leave the browser, it doesn't close. It just goes to the background. When you go back to it, it's right where you left it. If you use a task killer to actually close out the browser or you reboot the phone, it will start on your home page when you open it.

if you hit the home button, it will send the webpage to the background..

if you hit the back button until you return back to the home screen, it will close out of the browser and the next time you launch, it should be your homepage.

Use Dolphin, and set it to open to a specific default home page. To set a Homepage within Dolphin, select Settings | System Settings | Set home page

An easy way would be to just remove the Internet shortcut from your homescreen and create a shortcut to the Bookmark you want the browser to open too. You can also use an app like BetterCut to create this Bookmark shortcut ICON appear like the original Internet ICON too.

Very clever work around... The whole "bookmark the home page" idea. I likee.

Question, would this create a bunch of browser sessions being open and bog down the speed? Would it open a "new" season each time you clicked on the bookmark?

That is a great idea he provided, and no it wouldn't create new sessions.
