In what application? Text messages or in browser?

In the browser, do a long hold over the text and 2 green bubbles should appear, use them to select your desired text, then press the first option on the little bar that pops up.

It will say text copied to clipboard.

To paste, do a long press in the desired field, and select paste text.

Ok, I feel like an idiot. I've been trying to figure this out with almost no luck.

if I press and hold in most apps, it just brings up 2 dots. I can drag these up and down, but apparently not side to side (so selecting one word or sentence doesn't work, as I'm limited to "lines" of text). Is that right?

Also, one thing I liked about my old Windows Mobile phone was I could be browsing a web page, select the phone number in their "contact us" section, copy it, then paste it into the dialer. Is there a way to do this?
