replacement evo 4g broken?

Hi everyone.

I just got my EVO 4g replaced and I'm having problems with google play. I cant download anything unless I'm on WiFi. I try with 3g and get nothing. I've hard reset the phone twice done trouble shooting with sprint and google. Nothing works.

I had a rep at sprint tell me that Google Play only works over WiFi now. I told her I didnt believe her and would be calling back today to see if I could get someone else to help me. She told me it didnt matter and that's how the EVO works now.

What would you guys and girls do?

have u tried any updates? as in ur profile or prl? i hear those updates sometimes help, or even going into airplane mode then taking that off

I've done a hard reset updated everything I could think of still nothing.

Are you rooted or not, I know a lot of people that have rooted there EVO 4gs in the past when they were and 3g would not work period but 4g and WiFi would
