Mail issues

just started the other day. I have my hotmail and exchange server emails to update every 10 minutes both peak and off peak times 7 days a week. My email will not update unless i go out the email box and then it updates. Any suggestions.. I read another thread that said to unclick acct sync and re enable it. Doest work. Done a restartand nothing. Any suggestions.

I had the same issue the other day a power off power on didn't help I had to do a battery pull to get it working again.
