Sprint TV, 3G better than 4G?

Am I crazy or is it possible that when using sprint tv, a 3g connection is better? I assumed 4g would be, so yesterday I connected via 4g, and it was unbearable. The sound and the video were way out of sync. When I switched to 3g it was fine.
Is this possible? It doesn't make sense to me.

When you switched to 4g it might not have been a strong connection so if the 3g connection is stronger then the TV would work better.

Sprint TV kicks butt on 4G when I use it. You probably had a really weak 4g connection I'm guessing
