I apologize for yet another post on this matter, but there are so many threads about this issue I just didn't know which one to post this in.
I had a thought about the 30fps issue: HTC is claiming its due to the HDMI port integration. OK, lets say it is. Can they write a line or two of code in the next update to ONLY enable this cap when a cable is plugged into the HDMI port?
I think this would be something that is relatively easy to do, right?
Just a thought... if I'm way off base, I would love to hear why.
This issue, along with the horrible fps when shooting in 720p, are my only griping points with the EVO.
