Evo died after applying 6/28 OTA update for the second time.

I just updated my phone with no fault. Did have one problem after update, my camera or movie camera would not open. Turned phone off & back on and all is well.

See no difference in wifi signal, one bar unless I am on top of my Router.

Yeah I did the update twice as well. The 1st time I did it I should have not did it again...but when I did....BRICK! Had to take it to sprint today....i got a replacement the same day....thank goodness! DO not do the update twice! Im alil worried now to even do the update once now lol......the sprint lady told me not to do no updates unless its on the sprint website or until HTC fixes that problem!

If you are having issues, pull battery. Also try to go back to factory defaults and then do the update again.

How would I go back to factory defaults if my phone wont boot?

I tried holding down on the volume and the power button. Doesn't work.
Battery out a few times no luck.

Call Sprint they send you new one they are aware of the problems, they know it bricks.

Well now it doesn't really matter.
My mom wants to switch back to the iPhone.
I'm not really even sure why besides battery life.

I did the update, it bricked my phone...luckily I pulled some strings at the Sprint store and they just swapped me out for a new one! No screen give either, so I guess it worked out..I AM getting sick of reinstalling my apps one by one though...

HTC/Sprint can. They will more likely reflash the bricked phones, then sell them back to us as refurbish phones.

Sprint could not fix mine yesterday at their certified repair center.
