One thing I miss from the old Palm OS was text shortcuts - reserved text strings that triggered little macros to insert text.
You could define quite a few, but the ones I used constantly were:
.dt --> expands to current date
.tm --> expands to current time
Is there anything like this on Android, built in, or available as an add-on program?
I found FireKeys on Appbrain, but it sort of looks like overkill - near as I can tell, it totally replaces the (very nice!) HTC keyboard.
