Battery Life Solution????

I found a curious thing about my battery & hope others can confirm this...

I bought an ebay extra battery & a/c wall charger. I charged the battery with the a/c charger put the battery into my evo & got great battery life.... could it be the battery??? or the a/c charger???

I took my red evo battery and charged it with the a/c charger and here are the results...

• 7am put battery into evo 100%
  
• Turned on 3g and wifi
  
• Made about 5 calls ~15 minutes
• Checked/read gmail 4 times ~10 minutes
• Surfed web ~15 minutes
  
• 4pm 86%

This is much better than what I usually get when charging via usb.... I would usually be around 40%.

Has anyone noticed this???? Of course it would be a pain to charge my battery with with the a/c charger every time... but it appears that the battery life is 40-60% better than a usb charged battery....

What say you????

It appears to be the way the EVO (and other HTC phones) handle the charge process once the device initially reaches full capacity.

This is a known issue that it seems to be with more then one HTC device (the incredible has the same issue) please search there are other threads in this form about the same experience.

Yeah if you leave the Evo on charger for an extended period of time (like overnight)... then it seems it charges to 100% and then drops down, even when in the charger.
