i'm having the same issue with my gmail.
AND in my primary account--i'm unable to see any sent messages or messages in other Labels/Folders.
    this is not cool.
this is only using the HTC Evo widget view--
but, using the gmail APP, it works perfectly.
sounds like an issue that HTC should fix.

Droid X. 2.1. Stock. Not Rooted.
ADW is the ONLY thing I could think that might have an effect on it.
    Won't push. At all.

Only one account. Arbitrarily stopped a week or two ago.

I had this same issue. Choose settings, applications, manage applications, find gmail and choose clear data. It will restore itself and all will be well.

I have a rooted Desire, running the latest 2.2 and this problem seems to appear and disappear periodically every few months and I've tried everything to find the root of the problem, and by everything I mean the following:

    cleared gmail cache
    cleared gmail data
cleared gmail data & cache at the same time (the daredevil that I am)
removed the second google account and re-added it
    uninstalled gmail market updates
tried re-installing gmail market updates, but they somehow wouldn't so eventually I had to...

adb into the device and rm the gmail .apk and .odex
    re-install gmail freshly from market

This appears to have fixed it, but it only works if you have root, unfortunately.

Take care, IceBone (a somewhat happier camper)

I"m glad you got it working, I'd say the daredevil part was removing gmail though!
