Real call history?

Question about call history.
If 3 calls ago was to/from my wife at home, and then now there is a new call to/from her to her mobile, it seems that the original one to the home is removed and the one to the mobile is all that exists.

Is there a way to stop this? I want the original call to the home listed as well as the new one to the mobile.

in phone app, just hit menu and click call history, i think mine displays all of my calls

i dont think what you say happens actually is happening. if you are running froyo, when you call someone back and forth 10 times, called and received, all 10 of those call log entries will be grouped together in an expandable drop down list inside your call log. nothing is ever overwritten.

if you are still on 2.1, then your call to and from are just listed in direct chronological order, nothign is overwritten.

what i do is run an app called calltrack which uploads my call log in real time to my google calendar, so i have a permanent record of all my calls forever. i do the same with sms backup for my texts to get sent to my gmail account.
