Evo thinks it's connected to PC when using charger

My Evo now thinks it is connected to a PC when it is only connected to a charger. How do I fix this ?
I've changed Connect to PC default to Charge Only and it still shows connected to PC when I'm charging.

This worked for me after I was having the same problem after getting a USB car charger.
Set it to disk mode and connect it to your PC While its connected change it to charge only, you should see the notification that its in "charge only" mode. Open your image gallery or Astro or whatever and make sure you can access the SD card, and finally uncheck the "ask every time" box.

I just use bluetooth if I need to transfer any files to/from my EVO now...the USB connection is just too darn buggy.

Did you install DoubleTwist? If so, there's an option for this in it, set to on by default. Just disable it.

Thank you! This also solved it for me - never even thought to look at DoubleTwist! Was pulling my hair out trying to use this in the car ...
