gallery in grid view

can anyone tell me why my pics thumbnails all look like this in grid view?

Dunno, try go to Settings, Apps, Gallery, clear cache and let it rebuild the thumbnails. Hopefully that will clear it up.

i already tried that. i just cant figure it out its starting to get on my nerves lol

when i view in filmstrip mode the pics show up fine when i switch to grid view thats what happens

Same thing on my Incredible (2.2, unrooted)

Clearing gallery cache and data doesnt help. Reboot also doesnt help.

This happened to me when I looked at my SD card on my computer and had thumbnail view one. Here are the steps I used to fix it.

1. Move the pictures from the phone to the computer
2. Unhook phone from computer and open gallery
3. Move the pictures back to the phone (don't have thumbnail view on)
4. Repeat step 2, phone then creates its own new thumbnails.
