Google Calendar Bug

Has anyone else encountered the following problem? In the Google Calendar, if you have an event where events that go past 12:00am show up as a duplicated event the next day. Say you make an event on friday, nov. 5 from 10p - 2am. it will duplicate itself for the same times on nov. 6. Has anyone else noticed this and what did you do to fix it?

It's not a bug. It's a user defined event. You set a 4 hour event between 10:00 pm on the the 5th to 2:00 am on the the 6th. The Calendar does not break the event down to two hour incriments on each day. It shows the event duration as 4 hours, which happens on the 5th and 6th.......

so does the alarm go off twice? i that makes no sense, all that does is crowd my calendar. wth
