It's supposedly just camera tweaks/fixes and different modules.

No big deal if youre running it nothing bad is gonna happen. I for one didnt notice ANY differnces, so each to their own.

I wonder what the new part is in the new models...

You know... they always have these "camera tweak" updates. Well I don't notice a damn thing. It still can't record HD at over 23 fps. It still can't hold a decent frame rate in low light conditions. It still can't record HD without being choppy. Blah to their "camera tweaks". What they need is to be using the damn correct camera driver. Not this QC crap they've been using..

All that is different between the two is the supposed camera tweaks.
They changed around the jar files in framework, which was probably to help with the camera tweaks.

As for modules them will always get changed with a new kernel. You could probably use the modules from the 3.29 and they would work with 3.30

i've read that using a class 6 sdhc memory card works better then the stock class 2 when it comes to using the camcorder feature. class 6 has much faster read write times.

That's actually not true. A class 2's read/write speed is more than enough for 720p recording. As a mater of

Yeah it should be enough, yet it's still choppy playback after recording a 720p video.

I've used 2 different class 2 SD cards. Three of my friends have the original class 2 SD card. Non of us have an issue with hd playback on our Evo's. Its a software problem NOT an SD card problem. This problem happened after the 2.2 update. Prior to that it was fine. I remember all the complaints piling in after the 2.2 update.
