Will loading a custom rom fix this?

i hate the messaging app on the evo, it does;t list things in the correct order, i know this is a known problem, but i was wondering if i flash a rom like cynaogen will he problem go away?

for people that don't know what i'm talking about its when this happens

it should be like this

Jason: hi
Fredrick: yo whats up
Jason: whats going on tonight
Fredrick: some rich guys throwing a party everyones trying to crash it

but instead it ends up like this

Jason: hi
Fredrick: yo whats up
Fredrick: some rich guys throwing a party everyones trying to crash it

well, custom roms may have their own custom messaging app, or it may use the sense app. you dont need to load a custom rom or root to use a different messaging app. download handcent from the market, its free. make sure you uncheck notifications for the old messaging app though so you dont get 2 notifications. you can completely customize handcent too. i would rummage through the settings so you can get exactly what you want.

yeah i've used handscent i like it, but mms messaging doesn't work for some reason when i try.

my real question is if i flash a custom rom, will it fix this problem in the stock messaging app

In cyanogen yes.

i dont have that issue in Freshs ROM either.
