I just got my evo and am getting accustomed to it. I am trying to shut the phone off (cellular signal) and keep the bluetooth on. In other words I want to shut the phone off (not be interrupted) and still be able to listen to my music as I have a stereo bluetooth headset ...any help would be appreciated

Put the phone into airplane mode, then once all the antenna shut off, turn the bluetooth back on.

When you are in airplane mode, you can still turn on and off your bluetooth, gps, and wifi antennas if you need/want them.

I have tried that. Both using the bluetooth widget and using menu....settings...wireless...bluetooth. When in airplane mode it blocks those out. I have a evo with 2.2 and it is rooted with fresh rom

I found an app named Network that allows you to shut off the phone only. Problem solved
