    Noobie to rooting.

I rooted my evo with unrevoked. this worked great, downloaded rom manager from ROM Manager ~ Android Application v3.0.0.7 By ClockworkMod | Tools Using the ui i downloaded the clockworkmod, and installed with out a problem.

Problems started when I backed up existing rom from the ui. phone rebooted and is stuck on the htc evo 4g screen for about 30 minutes now.

Any suggestions on how to fix this to get it working.

    Welcome to AC.

I would pull the battery out at that point and reboot the phone.

I suggest everyone using clockworkmod recovery should be on 2.6.0.1 until all the ROMs are updated to use newer scripting for rom installation.
